One hundred and forty six square metres at 23/1158 Nepean Highway.

The benches are at standing height. The storage is open, so unfinished work stays visible between sessions rather than going into a folder. The frontage is glass, which means the street can see the work being made, and the young people making it know that.

The wall

One wall stays empty all term. It is not a display board and nothing goes on it provisionally. It is the exhibition wall, and it holds the work once, at the end.

An empty wall for eight weeks is an expensive use of a small room. It is also the clearest signal in the space about what the term is for.
